Sell Sheet And Marketing Options Include:

• An educational tutorial that takes you step-by-step through the entire process, from benefit statements and sell sheets to pitching your idea
• A professional review and recommendations regarding your current marketing materials (Click here to see a sell sheet evaluation)
• Assistance with the wording of your benefit and feature statements
• Feedback regarding your image and how to showcase your product
• Suggestions regarding layout and design
• Developing the framework for your materials together (I can provide the structure, but I do not do the graphics)

FYI – A FREE sell sheet review is included with the purchase of the Generate Interest In Your Product Ideas course. If you are not familiar with how to market your product, it would probably be more beneficial (and cost effective) for you to purchase the course first and gain an understanding of the process, then have me review your materials after you have done some rough drafts. And, for those of you who have a good understanding of marketing and would simply like expert feedback, I provide that service as well. What works for you and how can I help you?
(Click here for sample materials from the course).

Services are $75 per hour, with a one hour minimum. For more information about evaluation services, look in the store under the Evaluation of Your Materials section. For questions, or to schedule an evaluation, email or call me to set up a time to talk. Linda@InventingCoach.com, 952.405.6910  (USA, Central Time).

What Is A Sell Sheet?

A sell sheet conveys your idea instantly in a visual format. It can be a single page flyer (think billboard), a web page or a short video.

Why Do I Need A Sell Sheet?

The sell sheet is a tool to get your foot in the door and start the conversation. Use the sell sheet to intrigue the prospect to learn more about your product.

What Does The Sell Sheet Include?

A benefit statement, an image of your product, supporting points and your contact information.

What's The Most Important Tip Regarding Sell Sheets?

Every time you do a sell sheet, no matter how many you have done, always run it by someone who has experience with sell sheets. That person will be able to tell you if you are presenting your product in the strongest way possible. They will look at your image and layout, determine if your headline is a benefit and if the content belongs on the sell sheet or a data sheet (a secondary page with details, when required) and they will usually ask questions or make comments that will make your page stronger. If you have made a video, the feedback is even more crucial. The main mistakes with videos are that they are too long, redundant and missing contact information. I have been doing sell sheets for a number of years and still run mine by two experts. Getting feedback from someone with experience is invaluable. Don't skip this step.

How Can You Help Me With A Sell Sheet?

I can evaluate your current materials (print, video, web), recommend how to make the image, design and content effective, help you determine what to show/say and do basic layouts, when the art/photo is provided camera ready.

What Does A Sell Sheet Session/Review Involve?

The first step is to contact me, either by phone, email or in-person and let me know what you are looking for: Do you want me to create your materials from scratch? Do you need ideas for how to show your product? Am I reviewing your current materials, etc.? I will also want to know where you are at in your process: what homework have you done, do you intend on licensing or manufacturing, have you filed for patent protection, have you already shown or pitched your product, etc.?

The next step is for us to determine the best way to work together: Will we be doing our work in person, via the phone and internet or completely by email? Am I coaching you on the process or just providing sell sheet feedback? What do you need to help you move ahead? Once we've determined what we'd like to accomplish, then we'll decide together the best way for us to proceed.

Fees

The fees for my services are $75 per hour, with a one-hour minimum (Determining how we can best work together is no charge. Once we do start working together, your time can be spilt in a variety of ways: For example, we might talk on the phone 10 minutes, I spend 30 minutes writing and doing a basic layout and then we spend 20 more on the phone again after I've done the writing. One hour does not have to be consecutive).

A word to the wise – Most people who are not familiar with the process of bringing a product to market typically require 2.5 – 4.5 hours of time initially. A sell sheet review is included with the purchase of the Generate Interest In Your Product Ideas course, so it usually ends up being more cost effective to purchase the course first, watch the DVD, read the book and learn the process, then do the footwork yourself and use me to review what you have done. It will save you time and money in the long-run. Click here to see the course details.
